Chelsea Boos is an artist and designer. She is a graduate of the University of Alberta and holds a Bachelor of Design. Her work is in a range of disciplines including illustration, graphic design, photography, writing, and visual art.
Through art and design, her often ephemeral work manifests at the intersection of city building, human geography and heritage.
In 2013, she partnered with Carmen Douville and Erin Ross on a project called LIVINGbridge that transformed an old rail bridge downtown into a public urban garden inspired by the High Line in New York and Victory Gardens in San Francisco. The garden is still used by local residents to this day!
She has also worked on Dirt City¦Dream City, and the Colour Alley project, winners of an Edmonton Urban Design Award in 2011.
Currently, she is experimenting with drawings, installations and sculptures inspired by magical imagery and theories of the universe.
