Charlotte Falk (b. Saskatoon, 1984) is an artist and designer currently residing in Vancouver, British Columbia. She holds a Master of Architecture (2012) from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Design (2006) from the University of Alberta where she studied Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design and Visual Art.

Charlotte's practice continually shifts between visual art, architecture, place-making, and design. She works with a range of media at various scales while employing both analog and digital methods - producing work that includes painting, sculpture, drawing, temporary installations, permanent installations, furniture, and visual communication design.

This series of paintings was completed as part of a larger project investigating notions of body, place and memory in relation to intuitive-based design. Painted primarily en plein air atop Telegraph Hill, overlooking Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver, these studies were employed to uncover moments within the landscape for potential architectural interventions.
